Description
The Pista Tagliafuoco is a trail that winds through the wooded slopes above Rubiana, in the lower Susa Valley. The route follows one of the historic forest trails created to prevent wildfires, passing through dense chestnut and beech forests with panoramic views of the valley below. The trail offers an immersive experience in the nature of western Piedmont, amidst the scents of the undergrowth and the sounds of birdsong. From the highest points, views of the Alpine chain and the Turin plain are enjoyed. An ideal itinerary for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature just a few kilometers from the city.
