Description
Variant D of the Hinkler Ring on the Pratomagno near Arezzo. The Hinkler trail system commemorates Herbert J.L. Hinkler, an Australian aviator who crashed here in January 1933 while attempting a solo flight to Australia. The variants allow hikes of varying lengths through ridge meadows, beech and fir forests, with views of the upper Casentino and Mount Falterona.
