Description

Excalibur nature and educational trail on the Tonezza del Cimone plateau, in the Cherry Valley, among meadows, pastures, and beech and fir forests. This approximately 3 km loop starts and ends at Baito Tedetta (Pontara). Ten educational stations and a gentle landscape typical of the plateau offer a glimpse into the area's natural beauty. The symbolic destination is King Arthur's sword in the stone (a wooden template), which adults and children can try to extract. Along the trail, you can also visit the Austro-Hungarian fort built during the Strafexpedition of 1916. Technical details: Length 2.5 km, elevation gain 42 m, elevation 1,062-1,104 m above sea level, municipality of Tonezza del Cimone (Veneto).
